Information Resource Center in Sal Salvador

The Information Resource Center (IRC) of the U.S. Embassy in El  Salvador provides fast, accurate, and objective reference services on a wide range of U.S. subjects to Salvadoran government officials, journalists, non-governmental organizations, universities and businesses.   The IRC offers access to major U.S. data sources, online databases, and Internet resources. It also has a reference collection and offers a variety of U.S. magazines and journals.

April is... Jazz Appreciation Month

 JAZZ APPRECIATION MONTH, APRIL 2012

Each April, the United States celebrates Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM), an opportunity to savor a major American contribution to world culture. Initiated by the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History, JAM aims to focus public attention on the music and the many talented composers, musicians and other contributors to the sound.

    Note: We will NOT answer inquiries about visas, immigration, and citizenship matters. All such inquiries must be referred to the Consular Section.
