Donation for Salvadoran children

US Ambassador H. Douglas Barclay received a donation of food and school supplies to be distributed among children in El Salvador.

Robert Land from Jet Blue, Armando Bukele from Kiwanis Club, Cindy Paulus from the Airline Ambassadors and Alfredo Schildknecht, Chairman of TACA also participated in the event.

The donation was coordinated by Airline Ambassadors and had the cooperation from Jet Blue to bring all the goods to El Salvador.

The donation, which includes 8,000 pounds of food, 500 backpacks with school supplies, clothes and other items, was collected by the US NGO Feed My Starving Children and Give a kid a Backpack Foundation.

The Kiwanis Club will distribute the donation to children in El Salvador. Executives of the American airline JetBlue Airways and a group of 21 volunteers of the personnel of the company will participate in the delivery and distribution of the donation.
