US Embassy and Salvadoran Museum of Anthropology Launch Marx Brothers’ Film Festival

The film “Duck Soup” will launch the Marx Brothers’ Film Festival which is part of the cultural exchange efforts between the US Embassy and El Salvador. The film will be shown on Thursday, August 14, at 7:00 PM, at the auditorium of the National Museum of Anthropology (MUNA).
The festival will screen a different Marx Brothers movie every Thursday until September 4, including such classics as “The Cocoanuts”,” Animal Crackers”, and “Monkey Business”.
In the history of movie making, the Marx Brothers -- Groucho, Chico, Harpo, Zeppo, and Gummo – are known as one of the premier comedy teams of American cinema.
The entrance to the movie screenings is free.
