New Fomilenio Board Sworn In

Rodney Bent, Chief Executive Officer (Acting) for the Millennium Challenge Corporation, (MCC), witnessed on April 27 the swearing-in of the new members of the Board of Directors of FOMILENIO at the Presidential Palace in El Salvador.

Mr. Bent arrived in El Salvador on April 26 on a three-day visit to see first hand the implementation of the Salvadoran MCC Compact. During his stay, he will meet representatives of the Salvadoran Government and the members of the Salvadoran implementation agency FOMILENIO. He will participate in the ceremony that marks the construction of the Northern Highway in Metapan, Santa Ana.

FOMILENIO is in charge of administering and overseeing the implementation of the $461 million compact signed by El Salvador and the Millennium Challenge Corporation.
