Charge Blau Presents Award to Former Salvadoran Official

Former Foreign Affairs Minister Marisol Argueta de Barillas and Charge d'Affaires Robert Blau

Chargé d’Affaires Robert Blau presented former Minister of Foreign Affairs Marisol Argueta de Barillas a diploma in recognition of her work in organizing the Second Pathways to Prosperity Ministerial Meeting in El Salvador on May 31st.

In his remarks the Charge observed that the Obama Administration embraced the Pathways initiative and was impressed by how well Marisol Argueta de Barillas and the outgoing Salvadoran government worked hand in hand with its successor to ensure the continuity of the Pathways initiative.
