US Charge d’Affaires Visits Co-Latino Newspaper
Co-Latino’s Director, Francisco Valencia, shows the printing machine used by the newspaper to print its daily edition. Charge Blau made a courtesy visit to the newspaper.
U.S. Charge d’Affaires, Robert Blau, made a courtesy call to Salvadoran Newspaper Co-Latino. Created in 1890, Co-Latino is the only afternoon newspaper with a long standing history in El Salvador.
During his visit, Charge Blau met with newspaper director Francisco Valencia who shared the history of the newspaper in El Salvador. In their meeting, they discussed cooperation efforts from the United States Government in El Salvador through its Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Millennium Challenge Corporation Compact that will benefit the northern zone of El Salvador. They also discussed the ongoing friendship between the U.S. and El Salvador.
