“Cooperation Based on Common Goals and Beliefs"

Charge d’ Affaires Robert I. Blau was interviewed on one of the most watched TV interview shows in El Salvador and discussed a wide range of issues of the United States –El Salvador relationship.

Chargé Blau spoke with Frente a Frente’s interviewer Jorge Hernandez about the important ties between the U.S. and El Salvador, and how the relationship continues being strong under the new administration in both countries. He highlighted that broad range of cooperation between the United States and El Salvador is based on common goals and beliefs.

Mr. Blau also talked about  joint efforts in the public security area as well as the importance of addressing this issue to encourage investment. He also discussed the Honduran crisis and the role that both El Salvador and the U.S. have in working to achieve apeaceful solution.
