US Embassy supports Good Governance projects

On September 27th, the US Embassy in San Salvador and the Fundación Empresarial para la Acción Social (FUNDEMAS) signe dan agreement to strengthen Good Governance and Corporate Social Responsability activities in El Salvador.

This follows what Us Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutiérrez offered during his visit to El Salvador last year. The Embassy presented FUNDEMAS with a $9,500 grant which will be invested in training and other joint activities with organizations like AMCHAM.

The grant was signed by FUNDEMAS President Roberto Murray Meza, and the Information and Grants Officer of the Embasssy Rebecca Thompson. Ambassador H. Douglas Barclay and Comercial Attache Mary Boscia witnessed the signing.
