To call from El Salvador

Begining April 3, 2012 visa applicants can register at www.ustraveldocs.com/sv and schedule Immigrant and Non-Immigrant visa appointments free of charge, they can also schedule an appointment by dialing 2113-3122 at no additional cost. Visa applicants do not need a calling card to access the service.

Callers in the United States may call (703) 745-5476. Long distance charges may apply.

Emergency cases will be referred directly to the Embassy for appropriate action by the customer service representative after the person has contacted our Visa Information Center.

Information about nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processing at the Embassy will be available from live bilingual customer service representatives calling 2113-3122 between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays, and between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturdays and most holidays.

Holidays are announced at this link and are also posted monthly at the Chancery entrance of the Embassy, located on the Boulevard Santa Elena.

Immigrant visa, K3/K4 visa, and K1 fiancé visa applicants will be able to obtain information about their own case, such as when their appointment is scheduled and what documents are needed to complete processing their case. They will also be able to make requests to reschedule appointments or change address information.
